When the Sutter brothers met the Astleford brothers, there was immediately musical chemistry.  Over the ensuing years, Chad Astleford would be a regular contributor and collaborator in several Nuclear Gopher bands and recording projects but it started with The Frog. 

The power trio of Rhett, Ryan, and Chad was born in 1991 and immediately released a collection of jams called “Don’t Flogg the Frogg” which mostly included live-in-studio improvs.  They played several shows and then released “Son of Electric Cheeseburger Poodleskirt: A Concept Album” and that was that.  Sy Park joined up with the trio, they formed the band Purple Triangles and the brief glorious career of The Frog was over.
